Mixed Media Class KIA

It is with sadness that I end my classes, we had the last class of 8 classes, at the KIA this summer. It was SOOO much fun. I want to take another class but I'll probably have to get a scholarship as the classes are over 200.00 dollars.

Randy Walker was appreciative of my knowledge of pen and ink maintenance of pens and oblique penholder usage, etc., and had me give a couple tips to the class the week of pen and ink, about cleaning your point, etc. and doing exercises with the pen and ink.

He said I "got it" with the pastel. What I learned in this class is to break your pastel and use the side of it. It looks more artistic that way and it is not about outline and color in. It is about chunks of color when doing pastel.

Randy liked my sketchbook journals, and especially my 4 drawings of the laundromat.

He (Randy) said I have a certain style.
