In Between

Waiver and loose it all seems to be
All seems to wait so patiently
Silent and calm, standing alone
Looking upon my dreams forgone

Coming from there it took so long
So empty now and I don’t belong
Nothing begins now as I hold this space
From what has been and what I have to chase

Whatever comes, whoever shows
I go wherever the wind blows

May it be mine, or yet maybe ours
Desires abound through millions of hours
Halfway so far but is it enough
Hold still be strong and tough

Emotion and hope, we all sit and we wait
Forever and time that seems to sedate
Perhaps another step to seal these fates
To wake from our dreams, is that all it takes

Whatever comes, whoever shows
I go wherever the wind blows

The then and the now
Will always bestow
I’ve learned to tread this narrow line
In between the past and forever I need to align

But it never knows what I do
Somehow I know I will never have a clue
Until I am between what has just happened
And what is about to come in the next second

Whatever comes, whoever shows
I go wherever the wind blows

Whatever comes, whoever shows
I go wherever the wind blows
Whenever I sing and dance on this line
In between life, I know I’ll be fine
