Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

this article is dedicated to the climax of the Bugatti Veyron series: the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

This legend has brought the performance of the previous Bugatti Veyron 16.4 to the extreme, setting a new standard for luxury automobiles.

A superior set of specifications (such as the twin clutch gearbox with seven speeds, the extraordinarily precise driving performance in bends and excellent stability when braking and accelerating) set this beast ahead of anything made before it.

The top speed of 276.8 is accompanied by an ability to reach 60 mph in 2.64 seconds and hit three digits within just a few more seconds. Here's an example to give you a better idea of these stats: if this car were to start at 0mph while a McLaren F1 is at 130mph, both cars would reach 200mph at the same time!
These ridiculous performances are allowed by the four enlarged turbochargers and bigger intercoolers have been used to boost the power of the 16-cylinder engine.

As we have all heard from "spiderman", with great power comes great responsabilty. The Bugatti brand loyally followed uncle Ben's words by giving the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport the ability to decelerate from 70mph to 0mph in 45.2 meters. Yes, 45.2 meters.
A slightly raised main-spring-rate, stronger stiffer Anti-Roll-bars and new shock absorbers originally developed for racing cars give the Bugatti Veyron Super Sort unparalleled safety and control among it's peers.

Both exterior and interior design live up to the Bugatti brand's name One granting top level aerodynamics and the other providing a level of luxury (leather seats, high tech central panel etc...) matched only by it's exterior counter part. What makes the exterior amazing other than the aerodynamics? Carbon-fibre, carbon-fibre, carbon-fibre and carbon-fibre.

The obvious downside of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is a 7 digit price tag along with ridiculous mantainance costs. Routine services cost about 20k dollars... that's more than the cost of my car! That kind of money is probably nothing to someone who can afford the car, but this cars maintainance cost are nearly ten times those of a Ferrari Enzo!

The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is an all-around award winner in the automotive industry and well worth it's price, so keep your eyes open next time your out on the street: you might be lucky enough to see one!
