20140720 Sketch of the Day

This is an 8" x 6" watercolor sketch on paper of my niece and her fiance. A wedding to look forward to attending in September. Practicing seeing and painting the shapes the different values and colors that make up the image rather than the image. busy filling my sketching journal with studies for more ambitious and formal pieces I hope to get to when around my studio this fall and winter.
