I have been doing a few mermaids i find the mermaid to be a very serine creature. This is my latest one :)

Having never seen a tractor with a sun canopy before, this attracted me enough to do a small plein air painting of it.

"Inverted Bee" refers to the airplane in this acrylic painting and is so titled because it is a Gee Bee, short for Granville Brothers, the designers of it. This painting was done a number of years ago when my painting technique was a bit "tighter".

After a couple of days deliberation I have come to a decision. In the end, I fell in love with the poem Artist Lutz Baar wrote for this painting:

"Purple light in the canyons
That's where I long to be
With my three good companions
Just my guitar, doggy and me."

And also the background was impressed by Napa Valley scene, so I finally name my painting "Guitar,doggy And Me In Wine Country" - give to my credit to all my creative artist friends and especially Lutz Baar for the lovely poem!

These beautiful mixed flowers in a glass vase are from my garden. Peace Sunblaze, also called Miniature Lady Meillandina Rose, is very delicate in shades of pale pink and peach.

Tried something new for this sketch of a neglected hay shed. I used sepia ink, both with a brush and with a pen.

I had gotten about half way through this painting when I decided to make some of the vertical and horizontal lines into candles. Since there were around sixteen of them it helped create the title. "Cheers"

Ive used coloured pencils and black inkpen, and drew from my imagination.
lve started a collection for autumn and winter theme mainly food and drink too sell in the local town cafe (Lounge ).....

Peperoni Rossi......................This was such a lovely experience, everything worked, and it's a favorite of so many .. it's unfussy,and cheerful.

Added this to my Goddess series that I'm working on.

One of my recent paintings, completed in October. An abstract impressionistic view of the skyline of the city. Trying to capture the sensational feeling from a visitor to this beautiful urban park.

This is the wonderful little tidal island of St. Michael Mount in Cornwall, England on a cold autumnal day, painted in pastels.

A colorful geometric, zig-zag pattern to liven any room or hallway. In some countries Zig Zag means drunk, but I swear I didn't touch a drop while designing these patterns.

This is a plein air painting in acrylics I did at Two Lights State Park on Cape Elizabeth, Maine.
