VANESSA HADADY is a third generation classically trained painter who began practicing formalized study in 1974. Ms. Hadady obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1985. There, amongst several scholars, she studied under Gene Frumkin (poet), Joel-Peter Witkin (photographer), Thomas Barrow (photographer) while sitting in critiques by Julian Schnabel (filmmaker/artist) and the late Joan Brown (artist). During the 1980's, Ms. Hadady embarked on a campaign to share her works with the public and received recognition by the National Museum of Women in the Arts Archive on Women Artists, Washington, D.C. The the artist rarely submits works into competition, her works frequently place when submitted as evidenced by numerous regional awards. Her watercolor 'California Valley' was scheduled into the KVIE Art Auction 2010 (Sacramento Public Television) with an on-air time that opened the three day event. Her original work 'brookside' featured in the 30th Annual KVIE Art Auction 2011 quickly eclipsed other works in auction, including those by internationally placed artists. The artist released her first art book during July 2011, currently offers 4 books, and anticipates publication of a practice book.
