Consistently through the seven (7) FAA groups I administrate, I have regularly featured well over 51,000+ images to help encourage and support member artists.   It is always a pleasure to give away numerous images as gifts to friends and relatives who appreciate my work.   Donating my artwork and or proceeds from sale of such are blessings of grace and humility.   Using my own greeting cards for any occasion comes in conveniently handy.   The hundreds of notes of encouragement I have received and continue to receive has made this journey a delightful...more

Multiple Sclerosis

Good news! As of July 2016. Alyssa's MS has improved. Her latest MRI showed the plaques/scars on the lining of her brain has healed. She is still on a daily maintenance medication. All proceeds from the sale of her photos here will help with her medical and other expenses. We thank you for your support. Please message me if you need more information. This gallery is to personally share my own close to home experience with this disabling disease. Alyssa is a living proof that MS victims can still live a normal life and enjoy each moment given, each day, each hour, each year. There is no known cure for multiple sclerosis. Treatments attempt to improve function after an attack and prevent new attacks. Medications used to treat MS while modestly effective can have adverse effects and be poorly tolerated. Many people pursue alternative treatments, despite a lack of evidence. The long-term outcome is difficult to predict; with good outcomes more often seen in women, those who develop the disease early in life, those with a relapsing course, and those who initially experienced few attacks. Life expectancy is 5 to 10 years lower than that of an unaffected population.
