Glaciers Gone Collection

This collection of abstract palette knife paintings references actual glaciers from all over the world, most of which are in serious decline or, in some cases, almost gone entirely. In a few cases, some of the paintings explore a particular theme, such as "Meltdown". The glaciers of the world are disappearing at an astounding rate. The reasons for this may be disputed by some but there is no doubt it is occurring. My purpose in creating these paintings is to raise awareness of the situation and to explore in a unique way the idea of disappearance, as well as the broader of themes of humans and nature or humans vs. nature.
