Serenity. We all crave it. That's what led me to this obsession I have with photography. I find a peaceful walk in the woods, on the beach, or along a dirt road the best medicine in life, besides laughter and love. When I see a setting for a perfect photo I'm the crazy woman that will stop the car, or turn around and go back to capture that image. I get up early, stay up late, walk in the rain and snow to chase photos down. I don't mind being cold or wet to make the vision in my head come to life. The truth of the matter is that I never envisioned myself as a 'photographer' until people started telling me I had a gift I had to use. Other than my children, people photography doesn't excite me nearly as much as the natural beauty found all around us as far as the eye can see. No props needed, just an appreciation for life itself. A fancy camera isn't what I use, and I'm not sure I ever will. To me, it's not about the equipment used; it's about the vision in the heart of the person behind the camera.
Besides this crazy obsession with photos I'm a mother of four sons, a wife and a full time college student studying to obtain my bachelor's of science in healthcare administration/management. If you have seen the cost of college lately you fully get me when I say that the time to share my visions with the world in photo format is now to help pay for my education and feed this epic family! Who ever thought cheese would cost $6.00 a pound? Not me. So with that said I thank you in advance for taking time out of your busy life to view my offerings. I truly hope you find your own serenity in at least one of them!
