I have been taking pictures all my life but it wasn’t until recently that I took a few college courses to learn the basics and the rest I am self-teaching myself. With my children now going off to college I decided it was my time ,I could do what I loved not for the amount of money it produced but for the happiness it brought to my life. One of my favorite things to shoot is trees and up rooted trees even though I will never have one particular “style” because when some new idea or subject comes to mind I just allow myself to go with it and bury all I have in it becoming consumed in the moment.I feel so blessed to be alive and see the world through such different eyes now. I am in love with the camera. Being able to share with people the world through my eyes. The way I see color or sometimes how I 'might' like to see it, children and families at play or sometimes even arguing. Nature at her quietest and loudest moments, The magic that can be found in a picture is different by the individual eye. A simple field of foliage with some mountains and a few cows, for some beautiful to the eye, for others the Sunday road trips you would take with your family in the station wagon to look for a farm to pick out a pumpkin. A memory that lives strong and makes you feel loved and warm every time you look at the picture....happiness, love, regret or even sadness any way it makes you FEEL.
