“’Photographic art to live with’ is what I enjoy creating the most.” Steven.
Steven, a retired Coast Guard pilot, has diverse photographic experience including photojournalism, aerial photography, portraits, weddings, advertising, and especially creating and selling photographic wall art. As much as his primary careers have allowed, Steven has always engaged in some type of advanced photographic work.
Following his last assignment flying C-130’s out of USCG Air Station St Pete/Clearwater, Steven with his wife and three children decided to remain in the Tampa Bay area. Steven fully retired after a short second career with USAA. They now reside in New Tampa.
Steven is mostly a self-taught photographer though he has completed some formal training with the University of South Florida, N. Kansas City High School, DOD Public Affairs School, Nikon School, and with a commercial art photographer in Honolulu. Steve works with Nikon digital cameras and post-processes his images with three or four types of editing software. His style and content vary a lot, and his portfolio contains many unique galleries.
Steve is the Treasurer of the North Tampa Arts League and a member of the Florida Center for Creative Photography, New Tampa Photography meetup group, and the Florida Museum of Photography Art. He displays and sells his photo art at various local venues.
