I began my artistic journey when taking a college elective class in early 2004. In the painting class I always felt the paint covered the bold beauty of graphite. I found that I have much more control with graphite and it has plenty of forgiveness to it when working on paper. I use graphite for my portraits and a mixture of graphite and charcoal for my imaginary drawings. There is always a spirit I want to shine through in each work.
