Born in 1987 in Nanyuki, Kenya, Sawe Catherine is a passionate artist based in Kampala, Uganda. She did her Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Fine arts from Margret Trowell School of Fine Arts at Makere University in Uganda. While pursuing her degree she volunteered at the Uganda National Museum where she conducted Art classes for young children.
