Photography is a passion and a journey for me. I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember, but it was not until I lost my husband in 2008 that I really got into it. That's the journey part of photography and really the passion part too. It brought me to the point I'm at today and for that I'm extremely thankful. Through my passion and journey of photography I have met so many wonderful people. I've gone to workshops and I've improved my photographic skills through them and through my determination to move forward.
I see things in a very different way now and through that I think I've created my own niche. We all strive to be different, what sets us apart from other photographers that's the art part, at least for me. I believe photography is art, it's not a painting or a drawing in the traditional sense but it is art, it's painting through the camera and the lens with your eyes, heart and soul the same as traditional artists.
