It has taken me a lifetime of experiences and influences to develop into the self taught artist that I am today. I began painting in my teens and in my twenty’s worked for the Pontiac Creative Art Center. There I acted as house manager on their Exhibition Committee and developed various projects as their in house graphic designer. I began to experiment with photography around 2000, but was influenced in part to develop my current style when an image corrupted while being transferred to my computer. Another influence on my photography developed due to my volunteer work with Crossroads For Youth, a boot camp for troubled youth. There I lead an art therapy group to teach painting and began to notice the patterns and designs left on the walls after class. These images became a direct influence on me and I began to incorporate them into my current photographic artwork.
