Glen Powell is a self-taught artist capturing the spirit of the contemporary west through fine art pencil drawings. Originally from east of Missoula, Montana, Glenís propensity for creating works of art can be traced all the way back to his childhood, where he frequently displayed a natural gift for drawing. Glen began drawing around the age of ten and won his first award at fifteen when his mother secretly entered one of his drawings in the Montana State Fair. Using the simplest of mediums, #2 pencil, Glen's work continues to amaze and delight his dedicated collectors, as well as those who are new to his work. Glen is now in his forties and began offering his work to the public on a full-time basis in 1996. Now residing and working in Gold Canyon, Arizona, Glen's work has captured the hearts of thousands throughout the US, and internationally as well.
