Phobia Fun
Laughable phobias - poking fun at ourselves and our fears, is a series of bright-colored cartoons. They are all made from the same base photo image of a rear window of a cemetery gardener's shed. The vertical window had been closed up with four cement cinder blocks, but left a horizontal gap at the top so the water faucet handle could be reached. There were cracks suggestive of a nose and mouth. I could see a 'Jack' playing card very clearly in my mind's eye in the cracked design. The design led to a 'Jack', then multiple 'Frankensteins', then to a series of Personality Disorders and Defects, and finally to a collection of 218 Phobias. They all make great greeting cards and coffee mugs, some are selected for T-shirts, shower curtains and tote bags.
