My artwork has always brought color into my life and allowed my imagination to translate into works of art.
I discovered the wonderful world of Digital Art in 2002 when I began using the software program Poser. Poser is a 3D computer graphics program optimized for 3D modeling of human figures. When we say '3D', we don't mean special glasses are needed for viewing. What we “do” mean is the ability to take people, buildings, and models and move them around in a virtual environment as easily as if you were holding them in your hands.
Later I added Bryce, a 3D modeling and animation package designed to allow users to quickly create and render stunning 3D environments.
In 2006 I began using Terragen to create stunning realistic landscapes. Terragen is a scenery generator program. It can be used to create renderings and animations of landscapes. By combining these different software programs I have been able to use features from each program to create the images from my imagination.
Besides my individual artwork available here, I also have had several art books published that are available for purchase here: www.blurb.com/user/store/MichaelWimer
