Michael Cressy

I am a wildlife and landscape photographer. National Parks and places of exotic orgin. Self taught by reading and studying the likes of Ansel Adams and Georgie O`Kieffe. Owner of Wild World Photography in Mishawaka. Natural photography take it as it is at all times.
Was born in South Bend,Indiana and raised in Chicago. A great city to grow up went to St. Patrick High School and graduated in 1982. Facinated with travel since high school with all the stories of different places told by the Christian Brothers and their service to God and Jesus.
My first travel was in my late teens going to Ireland which was an amazing experience. The country was so beautiful and the people were the friendliest I ever met. Learn so much of different customs and norms in my travels and try different types of food. Ever since that I`ve been hooked.
Went to Indiana University graduated with a BA in communications in 1994. Worked in the Golf business for many years.. Started focusing on my photography in 1991 and from then on it became a passion. My admiration for National Parks came from the readings of John Muir. His poetic and religious rhetoric on the mountains and wildlife to the streams, rivers and lakes. His feelings these territories are the United States biggest and most valuable assets. How he thought of the mountains and wilderness as a cathedral.
