My name is Melissa Karr Fuller. I was born and raised in the Idaho Palouse country. I am a self-taught artist. I work mainly in charcoal with some color pencil thrown in, on prepared masonite.
I love to depict our North American wildlife and the heritage of our western way of life. I hope to leave you with a love of our beautiful, majestic wildlife. Through this I hope you will learn to appreciate what nature has given us.
The western way of life is very important to me and to the history of the area I grew up in. I like to depict this in small vignettes of the boots and paraphenalia of the working cowboy and cowgirl, farriers, horses, etc.
