I'm a 64 year old wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend. Five years ago, I finally decided to explore my creative side to see where it might take me. My absolute passion has become photography. April of 2011, I finally purchased my first DSLR camera and realized I have so much to learn technically. My point and shoot was so much easier, but limiting. I'm not professionally trained, yet feel I have a natural eye. I've been encouraged by many family and friends to pursue this with as much passion and enthusiasm as I can muster. I intend to do just that! I truly believe this is what I'm meant to do. Better late than never!
It's funny, since my first digital camera purchase, I really do see the world and people differently. Emotion and beauty are at the forefront of my work. I gravitate, it seems, to nature, architecture, and occasionally something 'artsy' draws my eye and I must photograph it!
