Loretta attended Graphic Design of Delaware Valley (GADV) and, later in her career, the Art Institute of Philadelphia. She considers herself to be a self taught artist with a lot of instruction. She has attended several workshops and studied traditional painting under Robert Spriggle and later Juanita Crosby (former owner of The Firehouse Gallery located in Bordentown, NJ), both of New Jersey.

Her works have been exhibited in Bucks and Delaware County in Pennsylvania, Stockton, New Jersey and Maryland's Eastern Shore and many of her paintings are in permanent private collections throughout the United States.
