I've been in photography for 35 years, starting with a Minolta SRT 101 and finally graduating to the Canon 30D and 50D series. But a few years back I got bitten by the film bug again and purchased 2 film cameras, a Mamiya 645 and a Mamiya 645 1000s Medium Format Film Camera. I just love it. I started working in my 20's in the darkroom with the old fashioned 'rock the tray' developing method. I shot with a camera as big as a car for many years in the printing industry. There I learned the 'feel' of what my settings should be. I shoot fully manual, all the time so I really have fun with my Medium Format Cameras.
I also spend a lot of time of Instagram beacause I love the 'polaroid' look of the site. I have over 1300 photos there. I belong to the Northwest Art League and I participate in several online photo sites, as well as Facebook. I have such a passion for photography, but with no specific genr, so I I am very eclectic and enjoy learning new techniques and styles.
Today I am a draftsman during the day and a crazy photo person on nights and weekends. My children are grown and so I am looking forward to many years of artistic expression. I've lived in Texas my whole life!
