Thank you for your interest in my work. My love for the desert southwest and my passion for photography have gone hand-in-hand for over twenty years. The mysterious and untamable frontier of the desert has long been captivating to me. From the rough and rugged cliffs, to the colorful rivers and canyons, this landscape is forever changing. The remarkable colors produced when the sun, sky, and weather all come together are like no other on earth.
From the lightning storms of monsoons to vibrant colors of cacti in bloom, the southwest desert offers great beauty and opportunity to get closer to nature. I consider myself very lucky and blessed to have the ability to get off the beaten path and explore this natural wonder. To photograph such fascinating landscapes, and the many Indian cultures that have and still inhabit this land, will always have special meaning to me. It has always been my goal to capture images in a way that will reflect the wild and undisturbed parts of America. This is truly the last great frontier. The American Southwest offers the ability to travel back in time from the days of the wild west to the prehistoric land of dinosaurs. This untamed part of the earth is just as peaceful as it is dangerous. The magnificent beauty offers such peace and tranquility, that more and more people are moving this direction.
I hope to continue my life-long venture through the wilderness of the desert and capture images that may be treasured by generations to come, from my children to yours. I urge you to see this natural beauty as I have before it is developed by man.
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I have enjoyed creating them. Please check back often as photographs are added frequently.
