When I moved to Arizona from the Midwest I was awe-struck by the beauty I saw all around me. Where some saw only sand and rocks, I saw incredible beauty - not just in the cacti and desert vistas but also in the influence of the Native American and Hispanic cultures.
Another passion of mine is preserving the history of our built environment. Through my photography and paintings I hope to bring attention to important places worthy of preservation so that other generations will appreciate the lives and architectural artistry of those who came before. I believe, 'to understand where you're going you have to first understand where you've been.'
