Judy M. Watts – ‘Rohanna’
Judy began painting in oils back in 1967 while living in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was in her first art show sponsored by the Winnipeg Art Gallery in the late 60’s. She is now enjoying working in Acrylics as well.
Judy’s work has been sold in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, British Columbia, Florida, California, Virginia, and Indiana
Judy has always been creative and has worked in many different mediums such as carving, designing and crafting jewellery, clay, and painting. In all areas of creativity she is self-taught.
Judy always says “I am the holder of the brush” because she feels her art is created in love and guided by a higher source…. She creates from that place which she honors with the name ‘Rohanna’ her higher self that part of her which is her true self, her soul self. This work carries a theme of relaxation, wonder, healing, meditation, spirituality and the angelic realm. Each piece has a message and speaks to those who need to receive it.
Judy’s art has been hung in Gallery 2 in Grand Forks, British Columbia, Huesso’s Gallery in Palm Springs, CA. Judy is also listed in the Art Section of Go B.C. tourism.
Judy was recently commissioned to paint the Cover Art for Charles Shea LeMone’s latest book, “The Spring of Unexpected Consequences” to be published during the summer of 2012.
