Glorious Glass..

This gallery is devoted purely to glass paperweights I have collected over the years during my travels to various countries. They are in my private collection. I am going to be showing them to all interested in fine vintage glass art objects...mainly paperweights. They are simply magical to look at ...with their own stories encapsulated inside the glass dome..please enjoy! Glass paperweights are decorative objects that are used to hold the paper in place on a desk or table. Glass paperweights are typically made from high-quality glass, and are designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. They come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and designs, ranging from simple and understated to elaborate and intricate. Some glass paperweights are created using traditional glassblowing techniques, while others are made by fusing, layering, or casting glass. Glass paperweights often incorporate elements of color, texture, and pattern, and can be designed to reflect the interests and tastes of the person using them. They can be made to commemorate special events or milestones, or can be created as decorative objects in their own right. Glass paperweights are often appreciated for their beauty, and are often collected as works of art. They are typically displayed on a desk or shelf and can serve as a source of inspiration and motivation.
