In terms of the 'fine art' aspect are my photographs in nature, of nature, landscape or animal... Landscape originals are sometimes photographed 5x7 sheet film, which is getting more difficult to find and process. Large format applies to the few very large format landscape or waterfall images (Comet Falls and View from Bear Mountain, and the stoney Stream shot all 4x5), most of the rest is digital Canon 60D which is still very good up past 24 by 30 or so. Along with Yachts I dabble frequently in bird photos in various wetlands in Florida. Gotta get to Yosemite, Yellowstone, Bryce, and others... I'm walking a bit slower now that age has started to creep.. not able to leap tall buildings anymore. HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography is new diversion. I like some of it, I'd rather just enhance a 'normal' scene. There's a few on here using the technique. Last summer I took a short trip to the waterfalls of the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. Then Maggie Valley in N.C. Next I'd like to spend more time in Alaska.......just returned from what I'm calling an 'introductory cruise' up the inside passage. Too much food! Next time I'll camper or drive to Denali and spend more time shooting and exploring.....
I use a 13X19 Canon PIXMA 9000 printer.. I use Red River paper, Canon paper, Epson paper, & Hahnemuhle Duerer, and MOAB Entrada.
......good luck to all. John
