Hello, my name is 'Java' John, Iím a Graphic Artist/Illustrator, and Photographer. Iím a designer of music related posters and CD covers, Festival posters and T-Shirts, and more.
Most of the artwork Iíve done over the years has been centered around my love of Rock and Roll. I have a collection of over 150 Ďcommemorativeí posters for various concerts over the years. These have all largely been for my own enjoyment, as I often get the artwork signed by the artist Iíve illustrated.
Iíve illustrated the childrenís book ďRiver DragonĒ about a Florida legend Annie the Dragon, have been featured in PhotoShop Creative Magazine, and had my posters reproduced in the 2009 books - 'PhanArt: The Art of Phish Phans'; and 'HOPE: A Collection of Obama Posters and Prints'. In December Ď09, Brevardís Beachside Resident magazine ran a three page article on my artwork, and had me design a Holiday themed cover featuring Bob Dylan.
At Melbourne Floridaís KING CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS, my photos from various concerts from the past several years permanently grace the walls in the venueís hallways (including Jackson Browne, Diana Ross, ZZ Top, and more), and Iíve had two one man shows (ďAnother Classic Rock Ďní Roll Art & Photography Exhibition 1 & 2Ē ) featured in their art gallery.
On September 1st, 2012 a book Iíve illustrated for children of all ages (written Adam Bryn Tritt), called ďBud The SpudĒ went into national publication! (http://budthespudbook.com/ )
