Ryder Studio is located in Fountaindale, on the Central Coast of New South Wales. With remnant rainforest, bellbirds and whipbirds, Fountaindale has long been home to artists and musicians.
My art is influenced by my surroundings, my garden, the nearby coastline and beaches, and several visits to Tasmania. The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens provided the material for my recent exhibition “My Bloomin’ Lot” at Firescreek Winery, Holgate.
The paintings on my website www.ryderstudio.com.au were created using acrylic paints on deep edged canvas. I have also been experimenting with mixed media collage, using paper, fabric and recycled materials. All are for sale, and many more can be found on my Ryder Studio Facebook page. www.facebook.com/RyderStudio
New work currently in progress again contains a sense of place, this time the beautiful and unspoiled coastal village that is “Seal Rocks: The Last Frontier.” The first paintings from this series can be found on the Landscape page, and more will become available during the year.
