Caddo Lake Cypress Forest
Caddo lake is on the Texas/Lousiana border. It is so mysterious but beautiful area surrounded by ancient cypress trees and amazing wildlife. Because the vegetation is so lush, much of the lake is really a maze of bayous and ponds. I was very impressed by the beauty of the cypress forest. I photograph their reflections on the lake and the nature around them. I think the best time to visit this place is in spring and fall when the cypress are in their best show of colors. The best time of the day is the morning when you can see them in soft light and surrounded by mist.
