The ICB is a huge, iconic barrel-roofed structure on the Sausalito waterfront, built by Bechtel and Henry Kaiser in 1942 for the production of Liberty Ships and other war vessels during WWII. Artists Walter Kuhlman and Tim Rose took over the entire open 3rd floor of the ICB in 1967 and set the canvas for the famous artist colony it is today.
