Gelabert Studios Gallery opened in New York in March 1989. The first show honored the Cuban artist Margarita de Mena. The successful result, and the need for exhibition space in New York City, provided the impetus to open our doors to the international art community and to artists who do not have representation in New York. Since then, the beautifully curated shows have brought the admiration of art critics and patrons.
Our primary mission is to provide artists, galleries and independent curators the opportunity to exhibit their finest work in the art capital of the world. Additionally, we strive to present work of the highest quality created by local, non-local and international artists giving New Yorkers a unique viewing experience.
