Eric Herve

Eric Herve began his studies of double bass player with Philippe Juncker, Jean Marc Rollez, Barre Philips, Jean-François Jenny-Clark.
He occurred in France and abroad with following orchestras: National orchestra of Capitole of Toulouse, National orchestra Bordeaux /Aquitaine, the Symphony Orchestra of Europe, National Orchestra Of Montpellier, Pau pays de Béarn Orchestra, the Symphony orchestra of Castilla (Spain).
Eric Herve regularly seems the soloist in many whole of chamber music, Orchestra “the Symphonists of Aquitaine”, Chamber orchestra of the Gironde, Ariège String Orchestra .
At the same time as the classical music, he also occurs in the improvised music, World Music with the artists:
François Jeanneau, Martial Solal, Shyamal Maitra, Jean-Marie Machado, Michel Gentils Trio, Ali Aloui, Laurent Marc, Philippe Léogé, Pierre Abbo, Richard Hertel, Pierre Dayraud, Richard Calleja, Thierry Farrugia, Guy Ould Yahoui, Jean-Louis Escalle, Bia Krueger, Luc Romann, Serge Guirao, Lluis Llach, Luis Rigou, Vicente Pradal.
Besides, instrumental experiences, he teaches music in Carcassonne Conservatory, create pieces for double bass, vocal ensembles, instrumental units.
Since 1995, he is painting about the double bass and makes numerous exhibitions on south of France
