Some studies, some from life, some from imagination, friends, self portraits, people from dreams... When creating a visual representation of a person, its hard to keep from injecting personality in ways that take the picture farther outside of what we think of as real. Sometimes this is done in subtle ways and other times more embellished. To a certain extent this is true of my landscapes and townscapes as well, but the same effect placed on the human form has a tendency to appear much more abstract.
