Montage Arts was founded in 1998 by the mother- daughter duo Alakananda Saha and Kalyani Chawla. Alakananda having been educated in Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore’s Santiniketan had a natural inclination for arts; Kalyani grew up in an environment where both her parents were deeply interested in visual arts, music and literature. Her latent interest in art flourished more as she grew beyond her formative years.
