I have always had a passion for all things nature, but weather and storms caught most of my interest. Growing up in Kansas I witnessed numerous severe storms and even a couple tornadoes by the age of 10 and this inspired me to attend the University of Oklahoma for a degree in Meteorology. I began chasing hardcore in 2008 and since then have racked up between 20,000- 40,000 miles a year chasing storms across the country. I chase not only severe storms and tornadoes, but also hurricanes and blizzards. Witnessing mother nature's awe inspiring beauty led me to become interested in photography and wanting to share these beautiful scenes with the world.
