My passion is photographing heritage railways. I think it's not difficult to see from my portfolio. I live in Germany near Nuremberg. In this respect, most of my shots were taken in Germany.

The train scene in Germany is very much alive and there are many special trains, lots of them are covered with steam locomotives. Also some specialties Germany has to offer: there are narrow gauge railways that realize a daily steam train operation. That is, of course, especially in the winter, an excellent field of activity.
Even neighboring countries have a lot to offer: from the Czech Republic, Austria and Switzerland have I brought frequently interesting shots.

I take pictures for many years and work lately with a Canon EOS 7D, mainly with the EF 24-70 2.8L Objectiv.

Many of my photos have already found buyers, including German railway magazines, such as Modelleisenbahner or Eisenbahn Kurier.
