Bill Zajac is a retired journalist who lives near the Cape Cod National Seashore's Visitors Information Center in Eastham, MA. He grew up in Holyoke, MA and became interested in photography when he prematurely retired at age 55 after suffering a stroke that left him with an assortment of physical deficiencies. Previous to that, he was an avid runner who completed more than a dozen marathons, including the Boston Marathon nine times. Although most of his photography focuses on the beauty of Cape Cod, his favorite photo subjects are his grandchildren.more
