Privateers & Ships of the Continental Government in the Revolution and War of 1812-Action in the South Atlantic

This gallery depicts the naval ships of South & North Carolina and action of ships of other states and the Colonial government which fought in South Atlantic & Caribbean waters during the perilous times leading up to the American Revolution and the War of 1812. The ships are painted to as near accuracy as possible with what data is available and the descriptions of their actions is as commonly accepted. Studies of the ships and naval fortifications are old photos, post cards and historic descriptions. Each original painting will be sold with a written history of the subject.
