Seascapes

I've only ever been to the beach/ocean once, and I was too young to remember. This a continuing work in progress. Doing this collection I can almost feel the energy, but also the tranquilty that theses vast waters offer. These paintings are meant to stimulate your senses through the use of color psychology. With the majority of my artwork I use color psychology to evoke psychological healing and vast emotions for not only the viewer, but myself included. Main Colors of this collection: Blue - Blue calls to mind feelings of calmness or serenity. It is often described as peaceful, tranquil, secure, and orderly. Blue can also lower the pulse rate and body temperature. Green - Green is a cool color that symbolizes nature and the natural world. Green represents tranquility, good luck, health, and jealousy. Green is also thought to relieve stress and help heal. Red/Pink - These are bright, warm color that evoke strong emotions. Red/Pink is associated with love, warmth, and comfort. They are also considered an intense, or even angry, color that create feelings of excitement or intensity. Orange - Orange is a combination of yellow and red and is considered an energetic color. Orange calls to mind feelings of excitement, enthusiasm, and warmth. White - White represents purity or innocence. White is bright and can create a sense of space or add highlights.
