As an avid naturalist and conservationist, I spend a lot of time outdoors, especially in Yellowstone National Park. My passion for photography grew out of my love of wildlife. I grew up in southwest Ohio and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where I majored in Zoology. I moved to Wyoming in 1995 and was drawn to this area because it represents one of the last great wild places in the lower 48 states. With the Greater Yellowstone Area in my backyard, the photographic opportunities abound. In addition to shooting in Yellowstone, I also enjoy traveling to other parts of the United States, as well as exotic locations around the world, and photographing beautiful vistas and incredible wildlife. I have been a serious photographer for the past five years. My work has been published in Wyoming Wildlife and Cody and Beyond Magazine.
Each of my images tells a story (or at least has a story behind it). The natural world is full of magical, intriguing places to explore and interesting animals to meet. By sharing my photography with others, I hope to educate and inspire others. These photographs are close to my heart and I am excited to share them with you.
