i have had a camera in my hand since i was 13. my best friend's father, who was the yearbook teacher, gave me his, with a pass at the beginning of the school year that read 'to go anywhere at anytime for the purposes of yearbook photography'. well, this was a tiny private christian school. it took a few years before i took full advantage of that! still, the seed was planted. i did a minor in photography going for my first degree & did a double major for my second, one in art & i split it between clay-work & photography. back in the old days- it was film. you had to work in the dark room. there was none of this one-touch stuff. i still find...more
