A great passion melded with purpose for the American West Living Legend, the Mustang. My first trip to our public range lands was the beginning of a life's passion. Having an affection for horses since a small child, little did I know I would end up living and painting these Iconic symbols of our American western heritage. I consider it an honor and privilege to travel our west to photograph, and document through the arts these incredible Living Legends called the Mustang. The more I learn the more driven I have become to assure their preservation in our nation. Incredible gifts of nature to us, their spirit of survival, strength and freedom they represent is a symbol of hope for all America. To lose these Mustangs from our public lands would be a disgrace to our country in all they represent and have given, and continue to give in all they inspire within our spirits. The images I have photographed and painted, the songs I have written and put to music are all my personal expression of the beauty of what these Mustangs embrace. If you don't know much about our 'wild west' and its 'inhabitants' I encourage you to visit the links on the home page of my site and educate yourself. The Mustang is under threat and needs our help to remain on the public lands they were given in the 1971 Wild Horse and Burro Act passed by congress. Please take the time to learn, my greatest concern and fear is that the photographs, paintings and songs will be all that is left of the witness of their existence on our land if we don't intervene and make a stand for these remarkable resilient American Legends.
