I was born in Trenque Lauquen (Argentina) in the mid 40′s, surrounded by farming, polo and many opportunities to observe nature, as my family and I lived in an ‘Estancia’.
During a bad illness when I was a young lad, I spent a lot of time in bed. It was then that I started drawing and carving soap, wood or anything I could find. From then on, I self-taught myself drawing techniques, metal foundry, ceramics and other skills that today contribute to my work.
Today, I want to capture the essence of the ‘gaucho’, as I remember it…and also farming life and skills that are getting lost as the years go by.
Here you will find a showcase of some of my work. I would love to hear from you, both if you are an artist or simply interested in my work.
I work mostly on commission, and always happy to discuss your needs. My pieces are varied and go from sketches to sculpture, and can be found enhancing spaces in various countries around the world.
