Creative Photography - Bending The Beam
For some time I have been exploring the concept of using the light and energy passing through the lens of my camera to "paint" an image. I had a vision, but was blind to it until I developed a method to add time and motion to the equation. "Bending the Beam" is the product of this quest and technique which only uses digital processing to change contrast and color density. ...................................................................................................................................................... The results are a spectacular blending of vibrant colors and shapes discovered in the architectural heritage of Tucson. It transforms architectural structures and features into fantastic scenes and apparitions quite impossible to perceive with the human eye. "Bending the Beam" is solely a photographic technique relying on the focused light and energy in the camera to offer a different visual reality ....reality of light through time and motion. ........................................................................................................................................................ The sublime magic of some of these surreal images is such that they take on a completely different character with each change of perspective. Therefore I offer many in various formats to give interior designers and art directors more options and greater flexibility for their designs, including book-end style compositions.
