A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description

Founded by the Celts in 308 BC, Obidos was conquered by the Romans in the first century and occupied by the Moors in the eighth century. The latter built the town wall, which still today is completely intact surrounding the white washed houses painted with blue or yellow bars.

Obidos has always been a fortified town since its formation by the Romans. The defences were greatly enhanced after the 12th century Christian conquest with the walls built to withstand long sieges and mighty the citadel to enforce control of the population. Visitors to Obidos will discover that the town is more than just a fortified town, it is a place of beauty, which arose from the single most import event in Obidos history. The town was a wedding gift from a king to his beloved wife.

The magnificent medieval walled town of Obidos is known as the Town of Queens because of a tradition in which kings used to offer the place to their wives.

The town boasts some lovely churches. In days...
