I have created a couple of new versions of The 1812 On the Move. This one I have added a railroad worker with a lantern and his tools waiting for the train to pass.
About Mike McGlothlen
Over the years Mike has dabbled in painting, sculpting & wood working as well as photography. Mike's turning point in his artistic abilities came when he learned how to use the dreaded computer in the mid 80s, then he could combine his love for art with his photographs. Mike's work has won numerous awards as well as being shown all over the country in galleries and museums. Now after 25 years of Commercial Photography in the High Point area, Mike now creates art full time, living just outside of Dunn North Carolina. "Welcome to the world as I see it. Beautiful creative works here Mike!! Steam engines are a big thing here in the UK and every year the is 'The great Dorset steam rally' biggest of it's kind I do believe? I do love the sense of adventure that can be seen in your works..like getting on board the polar express.
