Whenever I would go on vacation, I wouldn’t bring home t-shirts, I would bring home sovenier rocks. I always have. I never really knew why, but I did. I put these rocks all over my house as decorations and sometimes stacked them into piles. One day I was thinking about the stacks of rocks we would make to mark trails during my Girl Scout days, but I couldn’t remember how to spell “cairn,” which is what a stack of rocks is technically called.
