UC Berkeley Botanical Garden, Berkeley, CA.......Texture from Kerstin Frank Art on flickr......Photoshop CS3.......This was such a beautiful place......I can't believe I'd never been here before! It is landscaped and planted for year-round color, and the place is huge! They put together guides and maps for self-guided tours according to the time of year. So, even in the midst of winter, the place was just beautiful!!! I am looking forward to returning in the spring, when I'm sure it's even more brilliant there!!........Here's just a little bit of info, taken from their website: The UC Botanical Garden is a non-profit research garden and museum for the University of California at Berkeley, having a notably diverse plant collection including many rare and endangered plants. Established in 1890, the Garden, which is open to the public year round, has over 13,000 different kinds of plants from around the world, cultivated by region in naturalistic landscapes over its 34 acres.
